Journal Entry: Shifting Shadows

Who will step up, who will make the change?

Baby Boomers cling to power, their time growing old.

Kamala stands firm, yet they mock her with scorn,

Her resolve met with whispers, their fear uncontrolled.

Perfection’s demanded, while real villains roam free,

Twisted and vile, excused without shame.

Men gather in cliques, deriding her strength,

Clinging to toxic pride, their egos untamed.

For the world to survive, men must soften their stance,

True strength lies not in pride but in owning the truth.

The old guard must fall, their power must wane,

Real power emerges from courage and change.

Their toxic masculinity won’t stand in the light,

It fades when faced with those who dare to grow.

The future belongs not to fighters of old,

But to those who embrace change and let their true selves show.
