From above, it looked like a friendly house spider had settled on the earth, its legs stretching out in many directions, spread perfectly apart, while still holding everything close. Each room extended from a central hub—a space filled with light and greenery, where everything felt alive and connected.
My dream house wasn’t just a home; it was a carefully crafted reflection of me. All my quirks, wants, and desires for myself and others were wrapped up in one protected space. The design was complex, maybe a bit misunderstood at first glance. But, like the spider itself, it had a purpose, and it truly captured who I am. This wasn’t just a place to live; it was a part of the land itself, where every room flowed into the next, just like the natural world outside.
A house should be a safe space where you can be yourself, where you can find a peaceful retreat to do the things you love. It’s not about stacking spaces on top of one another, where sound bounces around and you never feel truly free. A house should embrace the outside flora and fauna, not shut it out—welcoming nature in and making it a part of daily life. In this house, I found not just shelter, but a true home—one that perfectly captures who I am.
